Abstract:
The sterilizing tank of a water purifier of the present invention consists of: a water storage tank which has a water inlet hole formed in the centre and a water outlet hole formed to one side of the water inlet hole; a securing part which is provided at the bottom surface of the water storage tank, and which has a discharge hole formed perpendicularly in the centre of the securing part so as to communicate with the water outlet hole, and also has a branch hole formed in the outer circumferential direction of the discharge hole so as to communicate with the discharge hole; and a sterilizing part which has a sterilizing lamp passing perpendicularly through the discharge hole of the securing part so that the sterilizing lamp is positioned in the space inside the water storage tank, and also has a terminal part formed integrally with the sterilizing lamp so that the terminal part is coupled to the inlet end of the discharge hole, thereby sterilizing the water, which has flowed into the space between the sterilizing lamp and the inner circumferential surface of the discharge hole, and discharging the sterilized water through the branch hole.
