A sterilizing water cup having an interlocking safety protection device, comprising a body (100); the body (100) comprises a cup cover (2), a cup body (6) and an ultraviolet lamp tube (8), the ultraviolet lamp tube (8) is fixedly connected to the cup cover (2), and the cup body (6) and the cup cover (2) are connected in a detachable manner so that the cup body (6) can accommodate or expose the ultraviolet lamp tube (8), the cup cover (2) is provided with an infrared transceiver module (20), the infrared transceiver module (20) comprises a transmitting port (21) and a receiving port (22), the cup body (6) is provided with a reflection layer (60), and when the cup body (6) abuts against the cup cover (2) and accommodates the ultraviolet lamp tube (8), infrared rays emitted by the transmitting port (21) are reflected by the reflection layer (60) and are finally received by the receiving port (22), and thus the ultraviolet lamp tube (8) is turned on. The present invention, by means of the cooperation among the reflection layer (60), the transmitting port (21) and the receiving port (22), controls the turning on or turning off of the ultraviolet lamp tube (8), preventing eyes of a user from directly contacting ultraviolet rays emitted by the ultraviolet lamp tube (8), avoiding harm to the human body, and having higher safety and convenience in use.
