Abstract:
A Stirling engine 1 is provided with: a displacer piston yoke 51 for connecting a displacer piston 3 and a crankshaft 12; a crankcase 13 having a lubricating oil holding section 13a; an inner cylinder 131 raised in the lubricating oil holding section 13a and containing at least part of the displacer piston yoke 51 when the displacer piston 3 is located at the bottom dead center; a side surface hole 132 formed in a side surface 131a of the inner cylinder 131; a first communication hole 133 formed in the portion of the inner surface of the crankcase 13, which is surrounded by the inner cylinder 131; a second communication hole 134 formed in the inner surface of the crankcase 13 at a position which is separated from the lubricating oil holding section 13a; a lubricating oil passage 135 for connecting the first communication hole 133 and the second communication hole 134; and a check valve 136 and an oil amount meter 137 which are provided in the lubricating oil passage 135.
