Abstract:
A stirring device 1 comprises a stirring tank (10) into which a plurality of liquids with differing specific gravities are introduced, partition plates (21-23) which divide the inner space of the stirring tank (10) into an upper side stirring chamber (R3) and a lower side stirring chamber (R1), a rotating shaft (30) which is inserted into communication holes (27a) which are formed in the partition plates (21-23), and inlet guide vanes (40) which are attached to the rotating shaft (30). Gaps (T) are formed between an inner circumferential edge section of the communication holes (27a) and an outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft (30). The inlet guide vanes (40) are disposed within the lower side stirring chamber (R1). The rotation of the inlet guide vanes (40) generates the flow of the liquids through the gaps (T) between the upper side stirring chamber (R3) and the lower side stirring chamber (R1). This configuration makes it possible to quickly bring the concentration of a liquid mixture to a state of equilibrium.
