A stirring rod (1) having a temperature changing function, comprising a housing (10), a semiconductor chilling plate (20) and a power supply circuit (30), there being an accommodating space (18) in the housing (10), and the housing (10) having a working section (12) used for heat exchange with a liquid and a non-working section (14) opposite to the working section (12); the semiconductor chilling plate (20) is disposed in the accommodating space (18), and the semiconductor chilling plate (20) has a first temperature changing substrate (210) and a second temperature changing substrate (220), the first temperature changing substrate (210) being in contact with the working section (12), and the second temperature changing substrate (220) being in contact with the non-working section (14); the power supply circuit (30) is loaded on the semiconductor chilling plate (20) and is configured to supply direct-current power to the semiconductor chilling plate (20) and cause the first temperature changing substrate (210) to switch between a heating surface serving as a temperature rise and a cooling surface serving as a temperature reduction, as the current direction of the power supply circuit (30) changes, so as to adjust the temperature of the working section (12). The stirring rod (1) can heat or cool liquid, has strong utility, and is easy to popularize.
