Abstract:
A stock collection system in which article identification information, such as a QR code, is detected within a captured image captured by an image capture unit (101) in order to identify an article stored with other articles in an article storage area. When article identification information has been detected, the position of the article in the article storage area is determined from the position of the article identification information in the captured image, and article information is retained, in which the detected article identification information and position information indicating the position of the determined article are associated. The article information is consulted to acquire the position information for the article to be collected corresponding to the article identification information for the article to be collected. Next, on the basis of the acquired position information, a laser is shone from a laser output unit (108) to the position of the article to be collected, thereby enabling the stock handler to recognize the article to be collected.
