Abstract:
An electrical refrigeration appliance (100), comprising: a cabinet (102), wherein the cabinet (102) defines a refrigeration compartment (122); a door (128), wherein the door (128) is rotatably hinged to the cabinet (102) to provide a path for selectively reaching the refrigeration compartment (122); and a stock management system (180), wherein the stock management system (180) is mounted in the refrigeration compartment (122), and is used for monitoring an object (182) that is placed in the refrigeration compartment (122). The stock management system (18) comprises a camera assembly (190), wherein the camera assembly (190) captures an image (300) of a food product (182) when the food product (182) is added into the refrigeration compartment (122) or is taken away therefrom. A controller (156) of the electrical appliance (100) analyses the image (300) by using an image recognition process of machine learning, so as to recognize the object (182) and a corresponding confidence score related to the recognition of the object (182). The confidence score is then adjusted by using historical stock data, and a stock list is modified when the adjusted confidence score (312) exceeds a high confidence threshold value.
