Abstract:
The present invention comprises: noncontact passive-type IC tags (2) for long distances that are attached to each of a plurality of stock-paper rolls (1); a transmission unit (3) for transmitting radio waves to the plurality of stock-paper rolls; a reception unit (4) for receiving, from each of the stock-paper rolls, radio wave responses to the transmitted radio waves; a control device (5) having a tag position calculation unit for calculating the three-dimensional positions of the IC tags that emitted the radio wave responses on the basis of information of the received radio wave responses; and a storage unit (6) for storing, as associated information, unique stock-paper information for each of the plurality of stock-paper rolls and three-dimensional position information for each of the stock-paper rolls from information for the calculated three-dimensional positions. As a result, it is possible to, without special technology, simply and appropriately select a stock-paper roll suitable for a production order from among a large number of stock-paper rolls being stored in a stock-paper storage area.
