Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a stock solution treatment device and an operation method for the stock solution treatment device with which a leak check can be easily performed, air can be easily removed, and a flow path can be effectively cleaned. [Solution] An operation method for a stock solution treatment device 1 comprising a filter 10 having a filtration member through which a stock solution such as pleural and ascetic fluid or blood plasma pass are filtered and through which gas does not penetrate, and a concentrator 20 to which the filtrate liquid that has been filtered by the filter 10 is supplied, and which concentrates the filtrate liquid to form a concentrated liquid, wherein: the filter 10 comprises a main body part 11 having a flow path, through which the stock solution is supplied, and an internal space isolated by the filtration member, and a port which connects the internal space of the main body part 11 with the exterior; and pressurized gas is supplied into the internal space from the port when the internal space of the main body part 11 is isolated from the exterior in an airtight manner, and the pressure of the gas inside the internal space is measured.
