Abstract:

This stool specimen examining device is characterized by being provided with an intake unit for a sample comprising a stool suspension, a stool collection confirmation unit which detects an uncollected stool specimen on the basis of the light absorbency of the stool suspension measured at a first wavelength, and a sample measuring unit which performs a measurement on the basis of the light absorbency measured at a second wavelength. Examination accuracy can be improved by detecting the uncollected stool specimen in a stool specimen examination.
