Abstract:
A stop member for a slide fastener, having sufficient mounting strength independent of the size thereof and allowing a core to be stably set to a set position relative to the stop member. An upper stop (40) is provided with a base (41) and a pair of legs (42) which extends from the base (41), and the upper stop (40) forms a containing section (43) surrounded by the base (41) and the pair of legs (42). The pair of legs (42) has a pair of opening-side ends (44) provided on the side opposite the base (41), and also has a pair of protrusions (48) which is provided in the containing section (43) at a position closer to the opening-side ends, and which protrudes further toward the inside than mutually facing surfaces (44a) of the pair of opening-side ends (44).
