Abstract:
The present invention is provided to solve a problem in stopper devices for conventional casters. The disclosed stopper device for the caster solves an existing problem in conventional braking devices which is related to surface friction force generated by the caster, wherein braking force is not generated by close adherence to the surface of the caster but is generated by a stopper wheel connected to a caster wheel, whereby the rolling movement of the caster is stopped by the stopper wheel's halting movement. Furthermore, the disclosed stopper device enables a brake to be engaged and released by locking and unlocking operations of a locking key and the stopper wheel, thereby improving the braking force, increasing ease of use, and making application of the brake onto the caster an easy operation.
