Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/031921
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a stopping control device for an engine, capable of distributing crank positions when the engine is stopped, and of suppressing localized wear of the ring gear caused by meshing with the starter pinion at startup. When there is an engine stop command due to an idle stop or the key has been turned off (S22 is Yes), an exhaust forced valve-opening mechanism (17) for the powertard is operated and the intake throttle valve (14) is close-valve controlled (S28, S30), and, after the operation delay of the exhaust forced valve-opening mechanism (17) is eliminated by the passage of a delay time (Tdly) and an exhaust valve (15) has actually started to be forced open (S32 is Yes), the engine (1) is stopped (S26) by the cutting of fuel supply.
