Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a storage basket automatic forming process, comprising the following steps: placing a frame in a fixed mould, a clamping block on the fixed mould clamping the frame; placing the storage basket into the fixed mould with the opening thereof towards the frame, and closing a forming mould, the fixed mould and a movable mould clamping the storage basket; a pushing block on the fixed mould pushing the inner side surface of a peripheral wall of the storage basket to keep the storage basket in a tensioned state and prevent a skirt edge from retracting inward when the mesh is tightened; the movable mould continuously pressing down until the storage basket is under the action of the fixed mould and fixed mould clamping and, after the skirt edge and frame of the storage basket are initially pressed and locked, the movable mould stopping pressing down and the pushing block resetting; the moving mould continuing to press down until the skirt edge and the frame are completely connected and formed; the movable mould and the fixed mould separating, and the formed storage basket resetting under the action of an elastic member, the clamping block resetting, and releasing and removing the storage basket from the fixed mould. Also disclosed is a forming mould for implementing the aforementioned process. The present invention solves the problems of the high labour intensity, low production efficiency, and high production costs of manual storage basket production processes.
