Abstract:
[Problem] To charge and discharge a storage battery so that the user has an economic advantage.
[Solution] A storage battery control device comprises a first acquiring unit, a second acquiring unit, a first calculation unit, a second calculation unit, a third calculation unit, and a control unit. The first acquiring unit acquires first information indicating electricity prices set on a per-time zone basis. The second acquiring unit acquires second information indicating the charge/discharge efficiency of a storage battery. The first calculation unit calculates a first power amount to which the storage battery is charged. The second calculation unit calculates a second power amount of the storage battery, which can be discharged from the storage battery to a load, on the basis of the first power amount and the charge/discharge efficiency. The third calculation unit calculates the charging unit price per unit power-amount, which is required for the storage battery to be charged to the second power amount, on the basis of the second power amount, the electricity price in a time zone during which the storage battery is charged, the first power amount, and the charge/discharge efficiency. The control unit compares the electricity prices with the charging unit prices on a per-time zone basis. When the electricity prices are less than the charging unit prices, the control unit allows the storage battery to be charged from a power grid. When the electricity prices are greater than or equal to the charging unit prices, the control unit allows the storage battery to be discharged to the load.
