Abstract:
The present invention controls charge/discharge of a storage battery at an appropriate timing. In a battery controller 107, a battery information acquiring unit 201 acquires information about a storage battery. A deterioration progress speed calculating unit 202 calculates the deterioration progress speed of the storage battery on the basis of information acquired by the battery information acquiring unit 201. A limit value setting unit 203 sets a limit value for controlling charge/discharge of the storage battery, on the basis of the deterioration progress speed calculated by the deterioration progress speed calculating unit 202. A timing determining unit 204 determines a timing at which the limit value is to be outputted, on the basis of information acquired by the battery information acquiring unit 201. A limit value output unit 205 outputs the limit value to a host controller 112 on the basis of the timing determined by the timing determining unit 204.
