Abstract:
The storage battery system according to an embodiment is provided with: a battery management unit capable of detecting the over-discharge state of a cell module equipped with a storage battery cell, operating by receiving power supply from the cell module, capable of outputting a state signal for determining whether or not there is a risk that the cell module will be brought into an over-discharge state, and capable of, when receiving the power supply, bringing a contactor having a normally open contact into a closed state, said normally open contact being inserted into a current supply path for supplying the storage power of the cell module to the outside; a determination unit for determining whether the state signal is output or not; and a cut-off unit for, when it is determined that the state signal is not output, cutting off the power supply from the cell module to the battery management unit. Therefore, the storage battery system cuts off the power supply to a load or a BMU when there is a high risk of transferring to over-discharge time.
