Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a storage battery system is provided which has: a plurality of pairs each including a storage battery and an electric power conversion device that is connected to the storage battery and that can be linked with an electric power system; and a control device that controls operation of the electric power conversion devices on the basis of a supplied electric power command value. In the storage battery system, the control device determines, on the basis of the usage efficiency of the storage batteries, the number of operating pairs, among the plurality of pairs, to be linked with the electric power system.
