Abstract:
In order to further optimize the operation of a power plant, the present invention is equipped with: a storage cell that is charged using excess electrical power generated by a power plant (10); and a database (23) that stores at least information about power consumption for each power plant device (11) (hereinafter referred to as "in-plant device"). An integrated control unit (225) selects, from among multiple functions, a function which is found to be executable within the range of the discharge capacity of the storage cell upon a comparison of the discharge capacity of the storage cell with the power consumption of the power plant device (11) when operating in a condition in which that function is executed. The control unit then performs a control so as to execute the selected function using the electrical power supplied from the storage cell.
