Abstract:
A storage control device in which the amount of reduced data per unit of managed data volume is large. The storage control device (10) stores data to be stored in a storage device without registering said data in filter information in cases in which the data to be stored is data for which the number of duplicates is less than N (N is a natural number), registers the data to be stored in the filter information and stores said data in the storage device in cases in which the data to be stored is data for which the number of duplicates indicated by duplicate number management information is N or higher and which is not registered in the filter information, and performs neither registration in the filter information of the data to be stored nor storing in the storage device of the data to be stored in cases in which the data to be stored is data for which the number of duplicates is N or higher and which is managed by filter information.
