Abstract:

The present invention can lock a storage device without using a dedicated device. The storage device is attachable to and detachable from an information processing device, and is provided with a storage unit that holds data, a power source unit that supplies power, and an input/output control unit that prohibits access to the storage unit by using the power supplied from the power source unit when the storage device is detached from the information processing device.
