Abstract:
Provided is a storage device having a first memory device and a second memory device, wherein, of the logical-physical conversion information that associates logical pages and physical pages in the second memory device, non-compressed logical-physical conversion information of the first memory device is set as a first level, compressed logical-physical conversion information of the first memory device is set as a second level and compressed logical-physical conversion information of the second memory device is set as a third level. The storage device has hierarchy management information for performing management with respect to in which logical-physical conversion information of the first level, second level or third level each logical page is included. When I/O in respect to a logical page is received, the storage device searches, on the basis of the hierarchy management information, the logical-physical conversion information that includes the logical page for which the I/O was received.
