Abstract:
This storage device comprises: a reel storage room; a reel rewinding device provided in the reel storage room; a housing space provided in the reel storage room for housing an object to be housed including reels; a rewinding unit; and a moving unit. The reel storage room stores a reel which is at least on one of a first reel around which a component tape that accommodates components is wound and a second reel whereof the reel diameter is different compared to the first reel. When the first reel is to be brought into the reel storage room, and depending on whether rewinding onto the second reel is needed, the rewinding unit uses the reel rewinding device to cause the component tape, which is wound around the first reel, to be rewound onto the second reel. The moving unit causes the reel to be moved and housed in a predetermined housing space, and when the reel is to be taken out of the room, causes the reel housed in the housing space to be moved to the exit of the reel storage room and taken out of the room.
