Abstract:
A storage management server having a memory for storing management information and a management program and a processor for referring to the management information and executing the management program, the storage management server managing a storage resource allocated to a server resource. The management information includes group mapping information for correlating a first parameter that specifies a server resource with a second parameter that specifies a storage resource and converting the first parameter into the second parameter. Upon accepting operation on the server resource and the first parameter, the processor converts operation on the server source into operation on the storage resource on the basis of preset information, refers to the group mapping information and converts the first parameter into the second parameter, specifies a storage resource included in the second parameter, and indicates operation on the storage resource.
