Abstract:
The present invention provides a storage method for a polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer solution that makes it possible to suppress cloudiness and thickening of the polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer solution after storage. The present invention is a method for storing a polycarboxylic acid-based polymer solution, the storage method for a polycarboxylic acid-based polymer solution being characterized in that: the polycarboxylic acid-based polymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-20,000, has a neutralization rate of no more than 15 mol% per 100 mol% of the total of carboxyl groups and salts thereof contained in the polycarboxylic acid-based polymer, and contains 85-100 mol% of a structural unit derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid-based monomer per 100 mol% of the structural units derived from all monomers; and the storage temperature in the storage method is at least 40°C.
