Abstract:
This storage system is provided with a plurality of controllers that each have a processor module and memory, and with a relay unit that relays communication between the processor modules. The relay unit performs distribution determination to determine which one of a first controller processor module and a second controller processor module is used to process a command stored in the memory. Herein, the first controller is a controller that has a memory that stores the command, and the second controller is a controller other than the first controller. The relay unit, when it is determined that the command be processed by the first controller processor module, reports storage destination information indicating the storage destination for the command to the first controller processor module, and when it is determined that the command be processed by the second controller processor module, transfers the command to the second controller.
