Abstract:
Provided is a storage system, wherein a first storage device provides a first logical volume, a second storage device provides a second logical volume that forms a pair configuration with the first logical volume, when write data to the first or the second logical volume is received from a host computer, dual writing of the write data is performed in the order of the first and the second logical volume, when receiving a read request to the first logical volume from the host computer, the first storage device reads data from the first logical volume and provides a response to the host computer if dual writing to a storage area to which the read request has been issued is not being performed, and when receiving a read request to the second logical volume from the host computer, the second storage device reads data from the second logical volume and provides a response to the host computer.
