Abstract:
In the present invention, given is a control method for a plurality of storage devices that perform a transfer from a pre-transfer volume group to a post-transfer volume group. The plurality of storage devices accept write commands from a host to write to an arbitrary volume among a plurality of volumes of a pre-transfer volume group and a post-transfer volume group. The control method comprises writing the write data of received write commands, in a predetermined order, to each of the plurality of volumes, writing the write data in the last volume at the end of the plurality of volumes, writing the write data to each of these different volumes after applying an exclusion lock thereto, and releasing the exclusion lock after completion of writing write data to the last volume.
