Abstract:
A storage-type chair (7) has been developed with a view to improve solidness of a leg body during use without sacrificing compactness in a folded condition, and is applicable to, for example, mobile seats (1) and the like. The chair (7) comprises a support member (8) installed on a stepped floor (2) or the like, first link elements (9) turnable relative to the support member (8) in forward and backward directions, second link elements (11) provided rearwardly of and substantially in parallel to the first link elements (9) and turnable relative to the support member (8) in forward and backward directions, elbow members (12) pivotally mounted to upper ends of the first link elements (9) and the second link elements (11), respectively, a seat (13) pivotally supported by the first link elements (9), and a chair back (14) born by the second link elements (11).
