Abstract:
Movable stands are provided with floor tables (2), chairs (1), and backrest drive mechanisms (12). The plurality of stages of floor tables (2) can be moved between its step-like extension positions and vertically piled storage positions. The chairs (1) have seats (3) which are each provided at the front end of a floor table while projecting forward from the front end, and backrests (4) which are each provided on the front end of the floor table behind the seat so as to be stood or laid between its stood use position and laid-backward storage position. A backrest drive mechanism (12) moves the backrest between the use position and the storage position. The movable stands are characterized in that the backrest drive mechanism (12) is a link mechanism having a first link (22) which has its one end connected with the lower end of the backrest, rotates the backrest between the use position and storage position, and locks the backrest at the use position by engaging with an engagement part (18) by moving the backrest to locate at the use position, a second link (20) which has its end connected with the other end of the first link and has its base supported by a support shaft, and an actuator (13) which rotates the second link. This prevents the backrest from falling down accidentally even when, for example, a strong force is applied to the backrest when a user takes the seat.
