Abstract:
Provided is a straddled vehicle capable of reducing shock occurring in the vehicle due to clearance of a power transmission member when a decelerating state changes into an acceleration state in association with a change in the state of a brake device. The straddled vehicle is provided with wheels, a vehicle body, a power source, a power transmission path, and a brake device. The power transmission path includes a first power transmission member and a second power transmission member which transmit motive power when engaged with each other. A control device controls at least the power source so that the first power transmission member and the second power transmission member are not located at the deceleration position from before a time of switching from a state in which the straddled vehicle decelerates by an operation of the brake device to a state in which the straddled vehicle accelerates by output torque of the power source in association with cancellation of the operation of the brake device until after a lapse of the time.
