Abstract:
A strain gauge holder that is lightweight and has a simple structure is provided. A strain gauge holder (1) composed of a holder main body (10) attached to the side surface of a pipe (3), a gauge-pressing member (21) for pressing a strain gauge (2) against the side surface of the pipe (3), and a feed mechanism for imparting pressing force to the gauge-pressing member (21), wherein a guide groove (12) for directing the gauge-pressing member (21) is provided to the hold main body (10), and the gauge-pressing member (21) is moved inside the guide groove (12) by the feed mechanism to press the strain gauge (2) against the side surface of the pipe (3). The feed mechanism is provided with: a bushing (32) having a cylindrical part (32a) with a screw thread cut into the inner surface and a collar-shaped part (32b) provided to the tip of the cylindrical part (32a); and a feed screw (31) threadably inserted into the rear surface of the gauge-pressing member (21). The feed screw (31) threadably inserted into the bushing (32) attached to the holder main body (10) is threadably inserted to move the gauge-pressing member (21).
