Abstract:
A strainer block for a biofiltration device is disclosed. The strainer block comprises: strainer bodies having multiple nozzle holes formed on plate surfaces and having skirt portions provided on outer edges of the plate surfaces so as to bend and extend from the plate surfaces; a first fixing member for fixing the strainer bodies to installation structures inside respective biofiltration devices while the strainer bodies are successively arranged towards the plate surfaces so as to abut respective skirt portions; a second fixing member for fastening and fixing respective skirt portions of the strainer bodies, which are successively arranged, to one another; and strainers fastened to the nozzle holes of the strainer bodies. The period from fabrication to construction is reduced by about 50% or more, compared with a conventional concrete strainer block, while maintaining the performance of a strainer block for a biofiltration process.
