Abstract:
A streak- and non-uniformity-limiting device for limiting streaks and non-uniformities generated in an intended image printed on a print medium, which has fibers that extend in irregular directions and multiple gaps between the fibers, by discharging ink from an inkjet printing device. The streak- and non-uniformity-limiting device is provided with a size condition-setting unit for setting size conditions relating to the droplet size of the ink to be discharged from the inkjet printing device so that the ink flows from the surface of the print medium to the interior on the basis of the extent of streaking and non-uniformity occurring in a test image printed on the print medium by discharging ink from the inkjet printing device.
