Abstract:
According to the present invention, a computer having a processor and a memory receives a query definition that includes a query for processing an input tuple, a variable delay operation for adding a delay time to a tuple output from the query, and a recursive loop for recursively inputting the result of the variable delay operation to the query. The computer also receives a configuration change instruction that specifies an input source from which a tuple is to be received, an output destination to which a tuple is to be output, and a delay time. The computer then changes the query definition such that: the recursive loop is omitted; the result of the variable delay operation is output to the output destination specified by the configuration change instruction; a tuple is received from the input source specified by the configuration change instruction; and the delay time specified by the configuration change instruction is set for the variable delay operation. The computer then receives a tuple from the input source, applies the variable delay operation to a tuple obtained by performing predetermined processing on the received tuple in accordance with the query, and outputs the resulting tuple to the output destination after adding the delay time to the timestamp of the tuple.
