Abstract:
In the present invention, a tensile load is applied to a test body so as to increase over time, and AE wave displacement occurring in the test body is detected (step S1). Detected AE waves are used to generate waveform data for each time interval (step S2). For each interval, spectral data is obtained from the waveform data (step S3). For each interval, the intensity peak of the spectral data is identified, and the portion of the spectral data where the intensity is greater than or equal to a set percentage of the peak is extracted as data to be processed (step S4). For each interval, the mode of the centroid frequencies is specified on the basis of the data to be processed (step S5). The modes of each interval and the tensile strengths applied to the test body in each interval are output as strength evaluation data for evaluating the tensile strength of the test body (step S6).
