Abstract:
In order to enable the installation strength of an anchor installed underwater to be examined with a simple configuration, force in the lifting direction is applied to an anchor 11 from atop a floating body 13 floating on the surface 12 of a body of water, thereby causing the floating body 13 to sink into the water. The immersion volume of the floating body 13 is set to a value at which a lifting force commensurate with the required installation strength operates, and a confirmation is carried out to confirm that the anchor 11 is immovable. The immersion volume of the floating body 13 at which a lifting force commensurate with the required installation strength operates is calculated on the basis of the buoyancy acting on the floating body 13.
