Abstract:
A stretch assisting cushion (2) used for various stretches including a stretch of a user's body portion around the hip joint. The stretch assisting cushion (2) has an upper member (4) having an upper surface (8a) forming, directly or with a cover member (8) in between, a sitting surface (10) of the cushion (2) and made of an elastic material, and also has a lower member (6) disposed on the lower side of the upper member (4), having a lower surface (6a) forming, directly or with a cover member (8) in between, a bottom surface (12) of the cushion, and made of a material harder than the upper member (4). When the cushion (2) is installed such that the bottom surface (12) is in contact with a floor surface, the sitting surface (10) has a predetermined inclination angle θ relative to the floor surface, and the lower member (6) secures a predetermined distance H between the lowermost point of the sitting surface (10), which has the inclination angle θ relative to the floor surface, and the floor surface.
