Abstract:
Provided are: a stretch sheet for an absorbent article that has excellent fitting properties with respect to the skin of a wearer and is capable of preventing gather traces from remaining on the skin; and an absorbent article using the same. A stretch sheet (10) for an absorbent article comprises a first fiber layer (2) that is constituted by continuous fibers of a thermoplastic resin and positioned in a first surface (11), and a second fiber layer (3) that is positioned in a second surface (12) on a side opposite to the first surface (11). Between the first and second fiber layers (2, 3), a plurality of lines of elastic material (4) are shrinkably fixed in an elongated state. The first and second fiber layers (2, 3) have a plurality of gathers formed between adjacent lines of the elastic material (4) in a direction (X) crossing a direction (Y) in which the elastic material (4) extends. The first and second fiber layers (2, 3) have an average flexural rigidity value of 0.0035 to 0.022 N⋅m2/m × 10-4 according to a KES method, and have a thickness dimension of 0.22 to 1.5 mm under a compression load applied to the gathers according to the KES method.
