Abstract:
This stretchable fabric is configured so as to be provided with: a body section (22) formed from a fabric which exhibits a tensile force of 4cN or less per 1mm in the widthwise direction when stretched by merely the length corresponding to 30% of the natural length thereof; and a tightening section (23) having a strong tightening force and formed in one section of the body section. The fastening section (23) is provided with a cell group (25) located in at least one section thereof and comprising a plurality of cells formed by transferring an elastic urethane resin to the fabric surface. The cells are formed so as to have an external dimension in an unworn state of 10mm or less and form a region, the interior of which is closed using a thin thread for which the thread width is set to within the range of 0.5-1.5mm.
