Abstract:
The present invention is a stretchable sheet (1) for an absorptive article, in which a plurality of elastic filaments (4) arranged so as to extend in one direction without crossing one another are, in a substantially non-elongated state and over the whole length thereof, bonded to a sheet material (2, 3) capable of elongation. Either some or all of the plurality of elastic filaments (4) are narrowed filaments (40) having one or more narrowed parts (40k) in a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (Y). In the narrowed filaments (40), the shape of the cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (Y) preferably has a shape in which a plurality of circles are linked in a partly overlapping state, and the distance between the centres of adjoining circles is preferably less than the sum of the radius of one circle and the radius of the other circle and more than the smaller of the radius of said one circle and the radius of said other circle.
