Abstract:
Disclosed are: a stretched film which is obtained by uniaxially stretching a multilayer film that comprises a base film, which has a multilayer structure of resin layers including two resin layers configured of resins different from each other, and a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer that is arranged on one surface of the base film; a polarizing stretched film which is obtained by providing the above-described stretched film with polarizing properties; and a method for producing a polarizing plate using the polarizing stretched film. It is preferable that the resins constituting the above-mentioned two resin layers have phase transition temperatures different from each other.
