Abstract:
Provided is a technology which is effective in improving the assemblability of a striking tool. The striking tool comprises a first main body section (103) wherein it is possible to mount, in the tip area, a tool bit (119) that is rectilinearly driven by a motor (111) at least in the long axis direction; a second main body section (104) which comprises at least a grip section (109) that is to be gripped by a worker; vibration control damping members (161) which connect the first main body section (103) and the second main body section (104) to each other in such a way that said main body sections are relatively movable in the long axis direction; a motor energizing-driving electric switch (137) which is to be operated by the worker; and a multiple-purpose mechanism which multiply serves as a plurality of mechanisms among damping member support mechanisms (162) which support the vibration control damping members (161), connecting mechanisms (155) which connect the first main body section (103) and the second main body section (104) to each other in such a way that said main body sections are relatively movable; an anchoring mechanism which prevents the second main body section (104) from disengaging from the first main body section (103), and a switch holding mechanism (151) which holds the electric switch (137).
