Abstract:
[Problem] To provide improved technology related to the mounting of a battery in a striking tool that is provided with a handle that is capable of movement relative to a tool main body. [Solution] A hammer drill (100) comprises a main body section (101), a handle section (109), and a battery mounting section (160). The handle section (109) is slidable relative to the main body section (101) in a state in which the biasing force of a coil spring (107) is applied to said handle section (109). The battery mounting section (160) comprises a plurality of mounting sections (160a, 160b). In addition, at least one of the mounting sections (160a, 160b) of the battery mounting section (160) is connected to the handle section (109) and slides with the handle section (109) relative to the main body section (101) during machining work.
