Abstract:
A string light comprises a plurality of lights and a plurality of conductive wire segments connecting the lights or a light and a power supply connector. Each light comprises a light bulb (1) and a light housing (2). Two light pins (11) protrude under the light bulb. The light housing comprises an accommodation part configured to accommodate the light bulb. A lower portion of the accommodation part comprises an opening into which one of the conductive wire segments is inserted. Plastic insulation of one of the conductive wire segments comprises a hole (45) into which one of the light pins is inserted. The light pins are inserted into the holes to realize electrical connections between the light pins and the conductive wire segments. The string light is simple in structure, and easy to connect the lights and conductive wire segments. Also disclosed an overcurrent protection method.
