Abstract:
A string trimmer (100, 100') comprises a protruding rod (20, 20') that protrudes longitudinally and provides along a longitudinal direction with a first end and a second end opposite thereto; a trimmer head (10, 10') performing an operation and connected to the first end of the protruding rod; and a handle assembly (3040, 3040') configured for an operator to operate and comprising a first handle (30, 30') and a second handle (40, 40') connected to the second end of the protruding rod. The second handle has at least one operation position including a first position in which the second handle is arranged to provide support for an arm or elbow of the operator. The first handle and the second handle arranged in the first position can operate together to realize a single-handed operation. The string trimmer has a grass cutting state and trimming state operated using a single hand. The string trimmer enables a user to voluntarily choose to operate using a single hand or two hands, enhancing user experience.
