Abstract:
[Problem]To provide a stringed instrument maintaining the volume produced at a base level or above while optimizing string vibration and resonance with the instrument body, and having excellent balance between the volume and quality of high-pitch and low-pitch sounds.
[Solution] Force is applied to the front portion of a tailpiece rotating the tailpiece from a part to which a string having higher fundamental frequencies is locked toward a part to which a string having lower fundamental frequencies is locked. As a result, the string having higher fundamental frequencies applies less of a load to a bridge, and the string having lower fundamental frequencies applies an increased load to the bridge when released.
