Abstract:
Provided is a stroke sensor having a simplified structure and reduced cost. A stroke sensor for detecting a movement amount S of a detection shaft 10 for following an object to be detected and moving from an origin position O, the stroke sensor being provided with: a detection shaft 10 having a large-diameter part 11, a first washer 18a, and a second washer 18b; a first housing 20 having a first receiving part 21; a second housing 30 having a second receiving part 31; a spring 40 for causing the detection shaft 10 having moved from the origin position O to return to the origin position O; a magnet 51 for causing a magnetic field to change in accordance with movement of the detection shaft 10; and a magnetic detection element 52 for detecting the movement amount S of the detection shaft 10 from the change in the magnetic field accompanying movement of the detection shaft 10, the first receiving part 21 receiving the large-diameter part 11, and the second receiving part 32 receiving the first washer 18a, whereby the movement amount S of the detection shaft 10 is limited.
