Abstract:
A stroke sensor is provided which has a simplified structure and which detects movement of a detection shaft with a simple method. The stroke sensor 1 detects the amount of movement S of a detection shaft 10 which moves from an origin position O following an object to be detected, wherein the stroke sensor is provided with a detection shaft 10 which is formed from a soft magnetic material and which has a large-diameter section 11, a spring 40 which at one end 41 contacts the large-diameter section 11 and which moves the detection shaft 10 back to the origin position O after said detection shaft has moved away from the origin position O, a magnet 51 which generates a magnetic field, and a magnetic detector 52 which detects said magnetic field, wherein the magnetic detector 52 is arranged between the detection shaft 10 and the magnet 51.
