Abstract:
A structural health monitoring system based on a shape memory polymer. The system comprises a plurality of shape memory polymer buckled beam and rod assemblies (1), and a signal processing and structural health state anomaly alarm platform (3), wherein each of the shape memory polymer buckled beam and rod assemblies (1) comprises an outer frame constraint (5), a shape memory polymer rod (4) and an electrical signal generation element (2), with the electrical signal generation element (2) comprising a piezoelectric material layer (6); and the signal processing and structural health state anomaly alarm platform (3) is electrically connected to the piezoelectric material layer (6). The structural health monitoring system based on the shape memory polymer does not need to be driven by means of an external power source; and the temperature change response of a shape memory material is taken as a method for implementing structural health temperature monitoring, and is combined with a specific rod group structure, thereby meeting the requirements for high reliability and durability of structural health monitoring.
